East Lake

The East Lake neighborhood is a neighborhood in the East Lake community of Birmingham. It occupies the large area southeast of 1st Avenue North from Wahouma, southwest of Oporto-Madrid Boulevard from South East Lake, west of London Avenue from Brown Springs, and north of South Woodlawn and Gate City. East Lake emerged as a neighboring incorporated area to Birmingham. It was annexed into Birmingham in 1910.
